เริ่มต้นจากแนวคิดที่ต้องการให้คนไทยมีโอกาสได้ดื่มด่ำรสชาติเบียร์สดรสเยี่ยมแบบต้นตำรับเยอรมันแท้ๆ โดยการลงทุนนำเข้าเครื่องจักรผลิตเบียร์ และวัตถุดิบหลักที่ดีมีคุณภาพจากประเทศเยอรมันพร้อมด้วยผู้ปรุงเบียร์ (Brew master) ชาวเยอรมัน
โดยเปิดกิจการโรงเบียร์ฯ ขนาดเล็ก ที่เรียกว่า Microbrewery ที่สมบูรณ์แบบที่สุดแห่งแรกในประเทศไทย ควบคู่กับอาหารรสชาติคุ้นลิ้นแบบคนไทยภายใต้ชื่อ โรงเบียร์เยอรมันตะวันแดง (Tawandang German Brewery)
ตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมา โรงเบียร์เยอรมันตะวันแดง โดยเจ้าของธุรกิจคนไทย ได้เป็นผู้ปลุกกระแสตลาดไมโครบริวเวอรี่ (Microbrewery) ในประเทศไทยให้เติบโตและเป็นที่รู้จักไปทั่วในชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติ ในฐานะผู้นำธุรกิจและผู้สร้างตำนานแห่งโรงเบียร์ฯ การดำเนินกิจการของโรงเบียร์เยอรมันตะวันแดงยึดถือแนวทางการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานและการพัฒนางานบริการอย่างต่อเนื่อง รวมถึงอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม บรรยากาศความสนุกสนาน และความบันเทิง และการให้บริการของพนักงานที่เป็นเลิศ ตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมา เพื่อตอบสนองต่อความพึ่งพอใจและเพื่อแสดงความขอบคุณต่อลูกค้าผู้มีอุปการะทุกท่านด้วยดีเสมอมา
ช่วงเวลาของการเติบโตของโรงเบียร์เยอรมันตะวันแดง หลังจากการประสบความสำเร็จในเวลาอันรวดเร็วของสาขาแรก พระราม 3 ทำให้ในปี พ.ศ. 2548 โรงเบียร์เยอรมันตะวันแดง สาขาที่ 2 เลียบทางด่วนรามอินทรา ก็ได้สร้างความโดดเด่นของสถานที่และเวทีการแสดงขนาดใหญ่ที่สามารถจุคนได้มากกว่า 2,000 ที่นั่ง และในปีนี้ 2558 โรงเบียร์เยอรมันตะวันแดง สาขาที่ 3 บนถนนแจ้งวัฒนะ น้องใหม่ ที่กำลังจะเข้ามาสร้างความแปลกใหม่กับบรรยากาศแบบโรงละครโอเปร่า ขนาด 1,000 กว่าที่นั่ง ที่พร้อมจะต้อนรับงานจัดเลี้ยงได้ทุกรูปแบบ

From an initiative to create the first Thai-German Microbrewery that served original German beer in Thailand.
Tawandang German Brewery was the first restaurant to introduce the “east meets west” concept to the dining and entertainment scene of Thailand.
The best entertainment featuring both eastern and western performances helped Tawandang break free from the “Western style brewery” model to become the innovative Asian style microbrewery of today.
Our Success Story Since it was established in 1999, Tawandang German Brewery has been at the forefront of the dining and entertainment scene in Thailand. The success of Tawandang German Brewery has been acknowledged by both Thai and international media. Time magazine claimed on January 6th, 2003 that Tawandang was one of the best entertainment venues in Bangkok.

Tawandang German Brewery was launched on Rama3 Road in Bangkok on September 10, 1999.
With exclusive food, beer, entertainment and service, Tawandang German Brewery turned out to be very successful and set many new records in the restaurant business. In 2005, a second branch was opened at Ram Indra with a capacity of more than 2,000 seats.
In 2015, a third branch open at Chang Wattana with capacity of more than 1,000 seats.
